Past THE MAT: HOW OUR TEACHERS SERVE



Our instructors motivate us consistently with their words, their intelligence, and their streams. Did you realize that a significant number of our educators likewise do motivating work out on the planet with different populaces of individuals? As a feature of our Yoga and Service arrangement, we are featuring the work our educators do to take their training off their mats. May we as a whole pursue their leads and be of administration to the more noteworthy world. 

ADA LUSARDI 

"I volunteer show a week after week class for a neighborhood non-benefit in support of seniors who wish to remain autonomous and associated in their later years. There are a few people in their 90's in this gathering. Would you be able to figure which ones? I am propelled to the point my heart almost blasts! I find out such a great amount about my future and the eventual fate of my more youthful understudies by working with these lovely astute creatures."

ANNE KOLLER 

Yoga and Service | Anne Koller 

"I have educated at The Healing Well in the Tenderloin for more than two years. When I educate in the mornings on Tuesdays, they drive my topic for my Tuesday night class at Namaste. I reveal to Namaste understudies about what individuals are experiencing and discussing at The Healing Well in our reflection and workmanship circle. We open with a feeling share, contemplation, workmanship articulation, craftsmanship share, mosaic creation and shutting serenade of sat nam."

VICKIE RUSSELL BELL 

Vickie shares her yoga learning with a gathering of individuals with Parkinson's and tailors a training to meet their requirements. These endeavors are upheld by PD Active and the Yoga Dana Foundation, a not-for-profit that supports yoga in underserved networks.

SATYA DE LA PAZ 

Her sliding scale classes for People of Color at Namaste are endeavoring to make a protected space for yoga for this underserved populace of individuals.
